Woodstone’s therapeutic program is based on the strongest available evidence of effective treatment for eating disorders, and is the result of a meticulous development process involving consultation and collaboration with both local and international experts in eating disorders treatment and intervention, as well as mental health and youth care more generally. The organization is now working toward CARF accreditation to ensure that it meets international standards for safety and quality of care, and it is staffed by professionals with the skills and experience required to deliver compassionate, person-centred services that foster trusting relationships, develop and enhance resiliency, and support developmentally appropriate levels of independence.
Woodstone is located in southern British Columbia on picturesque Galiano Island, which has well-established links to Greater Vancouver and the Capital Region of Vancouver Island. The residence has the capacity to treat 20 medically stable individuals who require an intensive, highly-structured yet home-like therapeutic environment.

It is surrounded by marshland, fields and woods that create a peaceful space conducive to recovery and reflection.
