The Woodstone Residence provides multidisciplinary, specialized care for young people suffering from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa or eating disorder not otherwise specified. People who need more intensive treatment than community-based services can offer or further therapeutic support following a hospital stay may come to Woodstone for comprehensive, evidence-informed care that encourages them to rediscover and rebuild their healthy selves, connect with their families and communities, and begin or continue an individualized process of recovery.
Residential treatment offers a level of service appropriate for individuals who are too ill and no longer able to function in their normal lives, but who do not require hospitalization. Woodstone is a place where medically stable individuals who are experiencing serious psychological distress as a result of their eating disorders will be able to get treatment from expert clinicians and practitioners within a community of peers who share a common struggle and desire to reclaim their lives. It will be a place of solace for individuals who need and are suited to the particular service it offers, and a place of hope for families and other caregivers who care deeply but no longer have the resources or reserves to support their loved one.
